I've got to tell you I was really impressed the other day when I went to see my family doctor. He was discussing a medication that he thought might help me and he whipped out a PDA. First off the man is like 82, so I was a bit surprised, but he explained to me what he was doing. He showed me a web release that someone had given him. The web release was about medical PDA software . It looked very cool. He said he was still learning how to get around it, but that he really liked it. The best part I thought was how the physician can look up meds to make sure there are no interactions. What a great thing. I used to go to the pharmacy and have them check before they filled my prescriptions, but now, I can releax knowing he is using this software. Thank you Epocrates!
