INT. ENGLISH FARMHOUSE - AFTERNOON
Linda is sitting at a kitchen table where a homely young
woman has her arm around Linda's shoulder. The YOUNG WOMAN
is the wife of the FARM MANAGER.
Linda is obviously shaken, but she is still coherent. Linda
looks at the farm manager who is holding a pen and paper.
LINDA
(gasping)
Did you get that?
The farm manager looks at Linda with pity.
FARM MANAGER
Yes, love, and I've got the
registration down.
You dad should be here soon and
I'll give this to the police when
they arrive.
Linda rests her head in her hands, rubbing her eyes.
LINDA
Good...thank you.
FARM MANAGER
(smiling at her)
That's okay my love. Good idea of
your dad's to get everything you
could remember written down
straight away.
There is a knock at the door.
The farm manager opens it and Linda's father enters.
