EXT. NEIGHBORHOOD - AFTERNOON View of Linda at 13 years old on her brother, Roger's racing bicycle. She is riding through quiet narrow, country lanes. Her hard hat is hanging off her left wrist. she goes down a very steep hill, letting the bicycle pick up as much speed as possible. As she reaches the bottom of the hill, there is a crossroad. At the crossroad stands a NUDE MAN playing with his penis. The camera only shows the mans upper body and movements, leaving the rest to imagination. He is very, very white in appearance. The nude man leaps out from Linda's left side and tries to grab her off the bike. NUDE MAN (smiling) Gotcha! Linda screams and looks horrified. LINDA No! Get off me! Linda struggles with the man and manages to escape after hitting him hard in the groin area with her hard hat. LINDA (continuing) Take that you animal! The man falls to his knees in pain. Linda looks at him in disgust. She is petrified. Linda notices a two tone grey car parked in the lane on the left, behind him. The camera moves in on the license plate as Linda studies it. NUDE MAN You little bitch! I'll get you for that! Linda jumps on her bike and glances back at the man for only a second. She peddles her bike as fast as she can. LINDA (to herself) Like hell you will, asshole! Linda peddles up the steep lane opposite the one she had previously come down. Perspiration is dripping from her. When she reaches the top of the hill, the ground levels and Linda turns down a long carriage driveway further up the lane.
