POV LINDA Slow motion, slightly out of focus. The priest swings the smoking object around Linda. He is chanting something. Rene has a look of fatal hatred on her face. The picture becomes blurrier and then goes to black as Linda passes out. EXT. MANSION - LATE MORNING Linda is on the ground outside of the front door of the mansion. She is soaking wet and trembling from the cold. A garden hose can be seen near her with water dripping from it. Linda looks totally confused as she licks her lips. There is blood trickling down the side of her head. LINDA (softly to herself) Salt? How'd I get here? The shot widens and we see the Priest and Rene are standing over her, looking down at her. PRIEST (blandly) That should sort her out. I don't think you will be having any more occurrences like last night's incident. The priest walks over to his old fashioned white car. Rene walks with him. They are talking but we (and Linda) can't hear what they are saying. Rene shakes the Priest's hand. He gets in his car and drives away. Rene returns to Linda with a weird, perverted grin on her face sticking her face in Linda's she speaks viciously. RENE Say anything to your father and it will be the last thing you'll ever say! Linda nods slowly with a petrified look on her face. Rene grabs Linda by the hair and arm and drags her inside the front door. The door closes.
