The Social Worker...continued

Susan entered her office, flipping the lights on and began pulling apart stacked chairs. Her clerk, a young, overtly gay, black man, Inmate Simon entered the room smiling. “Good morning, boss...you're late.” Simon took the chair from Susan and began arranging the others for her.
“Good morning.”
Another inmate came to the door. Inmate Morley, a very handsome young man entered the room. “Excuse me, I'll just get your trash.”
Susan flashed him a smile. “Thanks.”
Simon looked at his boss, “Your stress group is supposed to start in less than five minutes.”
“Yeah...I know.”
Simon waited until Morley left the room and then spoke, “Okay, boss, let’s have it...what's wrong...where were you?”
“Oh, just dealing with something.”
“All right...I get it...it’s none of my business. I just hope it’s nothing too bad.”
Susan smiled at Simon. She really did like this guy. He kept her entertained. She found it hard to believe that he was a bank robber, but he was and made no bones about admitting it. Susan watched Simon as he prepared the room for her group. She sincerely hoped that one day, he’d be a free man and a productive citizen.

Officer Black was alone in the front section of the isolation block. He picked up the phone and dialed. He looked around to make sure no one was there and he spoke in a low voice. “Hey, Nigel, I got something for you...um..hm. You know that little mother f...ker who tried to kill himself yesterday? Yeah...him.” Black pulled the note from his pocket. “Well, he left a note for
Susan Juran...that's right...I don't want to go into it on the phone, but...I think they had something going on...no shit! Yeah, catch me at the clock and I'll give it to you.
